How to tape for vacuum hanging or extending

Taping will allow blister free vacuum hanging or extending.  I exclusively use taping.  I have found that glans caps have a chance for a void to form between the glans and glans cap and this is were a blister has a chance to form.  This usually happens at higher weights were the vacuum is maintained on the glans cap but the cap is able to pull away from the glans itself, creating a void of negative pressure.  Tape on the other had prevents this by limiting the expansion of the glans.  It wont matter if there is space in the vacuum cup, the tape will stop the over expansion and fluid build up in the skin.

So what tape should you use?  In general micropore medical tape.  Some people have experimented with other tapes but the micropore medical tape is specifically designed for skin contact.  There are different types of medical tape made for different applications but in general we are looking for a tape that uses acrylic glue, not hot melt, and we really want something that is breathable.  You don't want to trap moisture on the skin. One inch 3M/Nexcare micropore tape is what is usually used for taping of the glans.

PREPARATION:

We want the glans clean of any oils or lubricants.  You can apply the tape to a dry or wet glans.  If you have a lot of pain when removing the tape try wetting the glans before application.  This tape is made to hold on wet skin it just decreases the hold power a bit, which in turn will make it easier to remove.

APPLICATION:

1.  Begin with a semi erect penis.  Take a section of tape, about the length of your thumb and place it center on the glans ridge then tape over the center of the glans folding over on the the frenulum on the bottom of the penis.  Make sure that when applying the tape that there is some compression of the glans.

 2. Take another piece of thumb length tape and place it so the left edge of the tape lines up with the center on the glans.  Starting at the glans ridge on the top place the tape and fold over glans onto bottom side of glans.

3.  Now take a third piece of thumb length tape and line it's right edge is lined up with the center of your glans.  Starting at the glans ridge on the top place the tape and fold over glans onto bottom side of glans.

4.  The forth and final piece of tape, if you're circumcised, will need to be a little longer than your flaccid girth measurement.  This piece will be wrapped around you lower glans and shaft.  Place it so 1/4 to 1/3 of the tape is on the glans overlapping the other tape layer and the other portion is on the shaft.  If you are uncircumcised you will most likely need to retract the skin and add another tape section lower around the shaft to keep the skin from getting sucked into the vacuum cup.

When completed your penis should look like below.  Keep in mind in you are uncircumcised you will have one extra wrap of tape lower down to keep the foreskin held back.

Now you are ready to start hanging or extending with no worry of blistering. Get set up and get those gains!

Happy Gains!
